Like the heading says we finally got internet in our little TLF here on base. Andy had the great idea that since we have cable, we should be able to get a spliter and a modem and WALA....cable internet. I am so excited!!!!
A lot to catch up on..... last week we spent a lot of time up in Surprise with Nama. Her backyard is mostly rocks, but the girls thought it was great and loved to be outside running again.

Last Saturday night Nama kept both of the girls overnight so Andy and I could go on a datenight. It was fun. We drove around the city for a bit...so much has changed since we both lived here 6 years ago. We had dinner at a Japanese Steakhouse and then went to Rosie McCaffrey's....the Irish pub where we met! Ahh..such fond memories of that place.
The girls and I spent all day Sunday at Mom's so Andy could be here studying. We had a bit of a tragedy Sunday evening.....after dinner Andy and the girls were out chasing the bunny rabbits that gather in the grass next to Mom's house. Grace chased one a bit too close to a cactus and got SEVERAL super-fine cactus spines stuck in her arm, shoulder and hand.....it was pitiful and quite traumatic for her....the only way to get them out was to pull them out with tweezers. I am pretty sure that Grace is going to be more careful from now on. This picture was just minutes before the cactus run in....
Tuesday we went to the zoo with Nama. It was HOT even though we went at 10am. The girls had a good time with only a couple of meltdowns.......good thing Mommy packed lots of snacks and drinks. Grace thought it was great to feed the huge giraffe. His tongue was really long and gross, but Grace couldn't feed him enough pellets.
